no-computer.org is what I call "my B-side act". It was born as a vehicle to express my inner self in no verbal form.

The name is a funny contradiction that has it's origin on the after job hours I turn off the computer and disconnect completely from world (read Internet) and do anything else but work. Ironnically, as the tools for producing this venture are the computers themselves and some other electronics I was, in fact, in a situation where I "reject" computers but have to use them for my expression act. It's a funny contradiction as I happen to be myself: a walking contradiction.

Since some time ago I've been looking into doing some kind of act that's more on the art side, that's the B part of me. I've been playing some music, trying to create electronic music and writing some poetry. One day I just decided to explore new ways of making art with computers, which is my profesional career, and let this side emerge. I was astunned about the amazing posibilities and unexplored opportunities that this move brings to creativity and art. So I started no-computer, in my mind. During my research, I discovered the "cultural computing" computer science's field which was an amazing coincidence and bumped my motivation for moving on. Finally, I launched the site and here we (A and B sides) are.
